Endangered Species

While on my evening stroll I happened across John, fishing for his dinner. He had just gotten off of work. His poles are the ones in the early shot in my portfolio.

I've tried to snap shots of people before, asking nicely, only to be told "no, I don't want my picture taken"

So I asked John if I could shoot his fishing poles. I meant for him to go about his business, packing up his gear, but he was more than willing to mug for me. When I asked him where he is from, he replied "here"

An oddity indeed as no one here seems to be "from" here. So he suggested the name of the picture should be "Endangered Species"

And so it is.
